PROJECT TITLE: San Juan Island Grange EV Station

The Grange leadership team asked me to work on the idea of a EV charging station for one of the three parking spaces. With the Town Sidewalk project about to begin, conduit and stub up needs to be in the design.

We took this a couple of steps forward with some brainstorming using Permaculture design process:

1.Bring electrical power to all 3 car slots

2.Level II for first slot and Level I charging for other 2 slots

3.Install solar panels on roof of Grange Hall to power the charging station and building.

4.Install a Kiosk next to the Pocket park that has a demonstration of the electrical use of the charging station and news about Transition San Juan Island.
