How quickly and how close can Lopez come to being fossil fuel free?  Transition Lopez Island’s Steering Committee posed that question, launching Fossil Free by ‘33 back in November 2019.  On Saturday, May 21st, 10:00 am -12:30 pm, Transition will host “Rising to the Challenge,” its virtual report-out to the community on the previous year's progress and current issues of its campaign, now expanded to include the entire county.
